MASSterList and the State House News Service convened a discussion Tuesday at the MCLE Conference Center in downtown Boston about the future of transportation in Massachusetts. Interim Transportation Secretary and MBTA General Manager Phil Eng was the keynote speaker and kicked off the event, called "TransitNEXT." A legislative panel featured Joint Transportation Committee Co-chairs Rep. Jim Arciero of Westford and Sen. Brendan Crighton of Lynn. Another panel included Brockton Area Transit Authority Administrator Michael Lambert, former Federal Highway Deputy Administrator and former state Transportation Secretary Stephanie Pollack, Transportation for Massachusetts Senior Policy Director Pete Wilson and A Better City President and CEO Kate Dineen.
